














Tom and Carol purchased Shoup’s in 1978. Our business started as a meat processor for farming neighbors animals in our community. She has always been a farm girl, and came from a small community of wonderful cooks. Their lives were surrounded by good food, homemade noodles, and savory desserts. Their business evolved into a small catering company with the help of their daughters. Carol has pushed Shoup’s Catering to become one of the biggest Caterers in Central Indiana. She feels that all Shoup’s employees have helped add the passion and love that is required to become a great Catering service. Carol is proud to support her Shoup’s employees who possess the same qualities and ethics that are expected by our clients.

Cindy Shoup Cacy is the oldest of three Shoup girls. She grew up on a farm with her parents and two sisters. Cindy went to Floral Design School and attended Purdue University. Cindy’s parents purchased Shoup’s Country Foods in 1978. Cindy married the love of her life, Bob, in 1980. They have two wonderful children, Jesse and Morgan. In Cindy’s freetime she enjoys spending time with her immediate and extended family. Cindy is proud to cater events up to 13,000 people and serve 90,000 plus people per year. Cindy’s most memorable moment was working her first Super Bowl in Indianapolis. She has spent the last 9 years traveling from Super Bowl to Super Bowl to help assist at VIP events. Cindy has a passion for providing her clients with the most quality products and stellar services she can offer.
Q If you could only eat 1 food for the rest of your life, what would it be?’
A Pizza! I love savory foods, this combines two of my favorite things (Meats and Cheeses)and in many combinations. I also think variety is the spice of life! Load me up with peppers, onions, and mushrooms…..give me the works!
Q When you have 30 minutes of free time, how do you pass the time?
A I really love listening to music, it can take you places, even back in time. Nothing makes me more happy than to hear a song that brings a smile to my face or brings back a favorite memory.

A I am the condiment queen. I love sauces. I am a foodie and I love variety so with sauces you can be many things to many people.
Cheri Shoup Jones is one of the three Shoup sisters, so she’s been a part of the business from the beginning, helping her Mom and Dad for years while going to college and starting out in business. She then left and went into Information Technology for about 25 years where she learned best business practices and technology and became a Senior Vice President of Systems Development for a fortune 500 company. She retired in 2015 and came back to join her sisters and Mom at Shoup’s to partner in re-branding our new signature products as VP of Product Operations. Our goal is to bring our products to the national level, and to have ‘Shoup’s’ become a household name across the country, known for family, quality, and savory goodness! In Cheri’s spare time, she spends every moment she can with her husband, Jon, on their powerboat in the Bahamas and with her kids, grandkids, and family. Growing up Cheri’s favorite memories happened at Sunday Family dinners!

Amy Mennen has grown up in this business since 4th grade. Summers off were spent helping wrap meat, stuffing hamburger, and working in the store. She fondly remembers riding with Dad buying and selling livestock. After high school, Amy graduated from Purdue University from the Krannert School of Management. After Graduation, Amy was hired by Ford Motor Company as a Service Zone Manager and lived in Detroit and Cincinnati, while often traveling the state of Kentucky. In 1994, Amy left Ford to come back to help the family business. Amy is Vice President of Shoup’s Country Foods, Inc. and is dedicated to constantly improving our business. In her spare time she is busy raising a family with her husband, Scott of 23 years, and 3 very active children, Reece, Kallie, and Creed.

A A new challenge each and every day. Our employees or as we like to call them, extended family, are the backbone of our business.
Bailey Denny grew up in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She attended Oklahoma State University where she studied Graphic Design, and played trumpet in the Cowboy Marching Band. After changing her mind and receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Bailey made the move to Indiana, and soon settled into a new life in Lafayette. Bailey has had many working experiences, from bartending and catering to car sales and customer service. But even with all these different jobs under her belt, she is excited to put her favorite skills to work as our in-house marketer.

Julia Thornton has been working in restaurants and catering her whole life. Julia came to Shoup’s with a former co-worker and loves working for a woman owned family business. In 2015 Julia was promoted to Head Chef and Kitchen Manager. She enjoys cooking and believes it’s what she is meant to do. Even though Julia sends out over 90,000 meals per year she takes pride in every single serving that goes out the door.

Scott Smith has been working at Shoup’s for 2 years. He is a veteran of the Army’s Military Police and holds an A.S. in Graphic Design. Scott came to the Shoup’s kitchen to help out his girlfriend, Julia, as a part-timer and eventually stayed on full-time. Scott spends his time away from the kitchen obsessing over guitars and video games.

Brittney Milner has always enjoyed working with fun people. She blossomed her florals skills on a chance day filling in for the florist at Marsh. After that, her love of flowers took off and she’s been at it ever since! Her years of retail experience have helped her grow a passion for creativity and unique design.

Lori Ostler worked as a cook in a local daycare for about 15 years. She has been with Shoup’s since early 2018. She has had the opportunity to learn many parts of the business, but is very happy to have finally found her perfect fit as our Pack Coordinator, providing our Catering and other events with the proper equipment needed to make each event special. She loves the challenge of the position and looks forward to learning and growing.

Pam Harris graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Fashion Merchandising. For 29 years she has been in the retail and floral design industry creating lasting memories for your special events. She took her years of experience and expanded it into the hospitality industry by joining Shoup’s Catering and Events in 2012. She is a very organized and detailed person who will make sure your event is truly special for you and your family.
Q: When you have 30 minutes of free time, how do you pass the time?
A: Spending time with my husband riding our Harley Davidson Trike.

A: Anything with chocolate, because I am a very friendly, sweet and compassionate.

A: I enjoy making Arborwood a beautiful place inside and out for a bride’s special day!
Cindy is a proud Hot Dog, having graduated from Frankfort High School. After graduation she attended beauty school and made a career out of creating beauty for others. After meeting her husband Tim, she took a break from the working world to raise her four beautiful children. After returning to work for a few years as the Marsh Bakery and Deli manager, she found a passion for florals, and began creating floral pieces for Shoup’s events. She now works alongside Pam Harris working to make Arborwood a beautiful space for all weddings and events. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and their five grand boys.

Bob married the love of his life, Cindy, in 1980. Cindy happened to be a 2nd generation family business entrepreneur. After a career in the United States Air Force Bob and Cindy moved back to Frankfort, IN to pursue roles within the family business. Bob is a vital part of Shoup’s Country Store. He runs the meat processing side of our business and is a senior grill master. Bob prides himself on his grilling abilities and the fact that his cutting room is so clean you can eat off the floor. On a day to day basis Bob enjoys chit chatting and working hard beside his right hand man, Curt Earl. Bob has two wonderful children, Jesse and Morgan.

Jeff joined the team from Lebanon, after seeing an ad that peaked his interest in meat cutting and grilling. Jeff enjoys curating his own delicious meat creations at home in his spare time, which helped him grasp the Shoup way of life early on in his time here! He enjoys spending his weekends with his wife and daughter, and sometimes dabbles in delicious cocktail making!
Amanda Brenner has managed the Shoup’s Country Store since December of 2017. Before coming to the Country Store she managed a local grocery store and spent almost a decade as a manager at Target. Amanda received a degree in Art History from Depauw University in Greencastle, Indiana but has spent most of her post-college life in customer service and management. She spends her days at the store working to drive sales and give great service to her customers! At home she is a wife to husband Allen and has three sons: Owen, Ryne, and Russell. In her free time she attends swim meets, band concerts, washes lots of laundry, plays with dump trucks, and gives lots of kisses out!

A The people that stop in the shop! I love talking with them about what’s going on here at Shoup’s, what’s happening with their lives, getting tips or recipes to try at home, and helping them pick out some great food!
Jesse Cacy has worked for Shoup’s Country Foods for 5 years full time, but he has worked the better part of his life striving to better our business. Jesse graduated from IUPUI where he ran cross-country and received his bachelor’s degree. Jesse is always ready for a challenge working in all areas of our business. in 2020, Jesse took over management of the Frankfort Commons Golf Course. He has worked hard to bring the course into the 21st century, and bring new life to a Frankfort Staple.

A Working on my 1901 craftsman style house with my wife Kailey.

A I’m like eggs the utility knife of food. I can be used in a recipe to help the team or served many styles. I proudly wear many hats. I can dress up or down just like my favorites breakfast food, EGGS.
