Amanda Brenner has managed the Shoup’s Country Store since December of 2017. Before coming to the Country Store she managed a local grocery store and spent almost a decade as a manager at Target. Amanda received a degree in Art History from Depauw University in Greencastle, Indiana but has spent most of her post-college life in customer service and management. She spends her days at the store working to drive sales and give great service to her customers! At home she is a wife to husband Allen and has three sons: Owen, Ryne, and Russell. In her free time she attends swim meets, band concerts, washes lots of laundry, plays with dump trucks, and gives lots of kisses out!

Director of Shoup’s Country Foods
Amy Mennen has grown up in this business since 4th grade. Summers off were spent helping wrap meat, stuffing hamburger, and working in the store. She fondly remembers riding with Dad buying and selling livestock. After high school, Amy graduated from Purdue University from the Krannert School of Management. After Graduation, Amy was hired by Ford Motor Company as a Service Zone Manager and lived in Detroit and Cincinnati, while often traveling the state of Kentucky. In 1994, Amy left Ford to come back to help the family business. Amy is Vice President of Shoup’s Country Foods, Inc. and is dedicated to constantly improving our business. In her spare time she is busy raising a family with her husband, Scott of 23 years, and 3 very active children, Reece, Kallie, and Creed.

Plant Manager – Shoup’s Country Foods
Bob married the love of his life, Cindy, in 1980. Cindy happen to be a 2nd generation family business entrepreneur. After a career in the United States Air Force Bob and Cindy moved back to Frankfort, IN to pursue roles within the family business. Bob is a vital part of Shoup’s Country Store. He runs the meat processing side of our business and is a senior grill master. Bob prides himself on his grilling abilities and the fact that his cutting room is so clean you can eat off the floor. On a day to day basis Bob enjoys chit chatting and working hard beside his right hand man, Curt Earl. Bob has two wonderful children, Jesse and Morgan.

Founder & Owner
Tom and Carol purchased Shoup’s in 1978! Our business started as a meat processor for farming neighbors animals in our community. She has always been a farm girl, and came from a small community of wonderful cooks. Their lives were surrounded by good food, homemade noodles, and savory desserts. Their business evolved into a small catering company with the help of their daughters. Carol has pushed Shoup’s Catering to become one of the biggest Caterers in Central Indiana. She feels that all Shoup’s employees have helped add the passion and love that is required to become a great Catering service. Carol is proud to support her Shoup’s employees who possess the same qualities and ethics that are expected by our clients.

Director of Shoup’s Signature Products
Cheri Shoup Jones is one of the three Shoup sisters, so she’s been a part of the business from the beginning, helping her Mom and Dad for years while going to college and starting out in business. She then left and went into Information Technology for about 25 years where she learned best business practices and technology and became a Senior Vice President of Systems Development for a fortune 500 company. She retired in 2015 and came back to join her sisters and Mom at Shoup’s to partner in re-branding our new signature products as VP of Product Operations. Our goal is to bring our products to the national level, and to have ‘Shoup’s’ become a household name across the country, known for family, quality, and savory goodness! In Cheri’s spare time, she spends every moment she can with her husband, Jon, on their powerboat in the Bahamas and with her kids, grandkids, and family. Growing up Cheri’s favorite memories happened at Sunday Family dinners!

Cindy Shoup Cacy is the oldest of three Shoup girls. She grew up on a farm with her parents and two sisters. Cindy went to Floral Design School and attended Purdue University. Cindy’s parents purchased Shoup’s Country Foods in 1978. Cindy married the love of her life, Bob, in 1980. They have two wonderful children, Jesse and Morgan. In Cindy’s freetime she enjoys spending time with her immediate and extended family. Cindy is proud to cater events up to 13,000 people and serve 90,000 plus people per year. Cindy’s most memorable moment was working her first Super Bowl in Indianapolis. She has spent the last 9 years traveling from Super Bowl to Super Bowl to help assist at VIP events. Cindy has a passion for providing her clients with the most quality products and stellar services she can offer.

A: Pizza! I love savory foods, this combines two of my favorite things (Meats and Cheeses)and in many combinations. I also think variety is the spice of life! Load me up with peppers, onions, and mushrooms…..give me the works!

A: I really love listening to music, it can take you places, even back in time. Nothing makes me more happy than to hear a song that brings a smile to my face or brings back a favorite memory.

Meat & Grill Assistant
Curt Earl started his career building pools out of high school. He worked a few years at Perdue Turkey Farms before coming to work at Shoup’s in 1994. He has worked beside his boss, Bob, for 26 years. Curt was married in September of 2018 to his wife Tonya. They enjoy their lives with their four dogs out in Curt’s slice of heaven north of Hillisburg. Curt enjoys cutting quality meats, making pork burgers, and packaging pulled pork barbecue. He is also a vital part of our warehouse operations, grill team, and sanitation.

Janna grew up on a farm in Illinois. She enjoyed showing horses, cattle, 4-H, and leadership activities. She got her associates degree from Black Hawk College East then transferred to Purdue University and majored in Ag business. While in college, she participated on the Horse judging team where she met her future husband, Joey. They were married in 2002 and reside on a farm in Colfax raising their sons Jack and Jhett. Janna is our Catering & Events Director at Shoup’s. She has been employed by Shoup’s for over 20 years, full time since 2008.

Signature Products Sales Director
Jesse Cacy has worked for Shoup’s Country Foods for 5 years full time, but he has worked the better part of his life striving to better our business. Jesse graduated from IUPUI where he ran cross-country and received his bachelor’s degree. Jesse is always ready for a challenge working in all areas of our business. Jesse’s main focus is on promoting Shoup’s Country Foods Signature line of quality products and delivering customers with the best service.

Executive Chef & Kitchen Manager
Julia Thornton has been working in restaurant and catering her whole life. Julia came to Shoup’s with a former co-worker and loves working for a woman owned family business. In 2015 Julia was promoted to Head Chef and Kitchen Manager. She enjoys cooking and believes it’s what she is meant to do. Even though Julia sends out over 90,000 meals per year she takes pride in every single serving that goes out the door.

On the Rocks Director & Event Planner
Kailey Cacy started out at a hole-in-the wall bar on the southside of Indianapolis when she was 21. She learned how to mix drinks and found a love for creating new and tasty concoctions. One year later Kailey met a strikingly handsome man while bartending an offsite wedding who just so happened to be a third generation Shoup family member. Kailey began working full-time as the Bar Manager for Shoup’s Country Foods in June of 2015. Kailey and the strikingly handsome man, Jesse, were married on September 23rd, 2017, and she became linked to Shoup’s Country Foods for life! Although Kailey’s official title with the company is “On The Rocks Bar Manager”, she often assists with other divisions. You can find Kailey coordinating a catering event, selling Shoup’s Barbecue Sauce and Seasoning at a trade show, or even planting flowers at Arborwood in the Spring; when you work in a family business, there’s no limit to what your role might entail! Kailey is always looking for new ways to keep On The Rocks Bar Service up-to-date with current drink presentation and alcohol trends. Kailey enjoys her great relationships with the On The Rocks Bar Staff and truly enjoys mixing drinks at events alongside them.

Office Manager
Kim Ray knew growing up that her God given skill was working with numbers and working with others. Kim’s passion is to put things on paper and organize a budget or spreadsheet. She participated in a school program, Cooperative Office Education, the summer of her junior year. Kim was hired by the local newspaper, The Times, to train in her chosen career. Little did Kim know that at the age of 16 she would start her lifelong career goal. Kim attended Ivy Tech Community College and received her associates degree in accounting/office management while working full-time. The corporate world took a downturn, at which time her job was eliminated after 32 years with The Times newspaper. God guided Kim to Shoup’s through a family member who had worked as a caterer. At that time, the financial part of the business was being done offsite. Shoup’s decided it was time to bring it all home and Kim was hired to do the accounting and became Office Manager. She feels blessed to put her skills to work in this family business and feels like part of the family in all facets of the business. Kim looks forward to be a part of the future endeavors of Shoup’s Country Foods.

Pack Manager
Lori Ostler worked as a cook in a local daycare for about 15 years. She has been with Shoup’s since early 2018. She has had the opportunity to learn many parts of the business, but is very happy to have finally found her perfect fit as our Pack Coordinator, providing our Catering and other events with the proper equipment needed to make each event special. She loves the challenge of the position and looks forward to learning and growing.

Pam Harris graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Fashion Merchandising. For 29 years she has been in the retail and floral design industry creating lasting memories for your special events. She took her years of experience and expanded it into the hospitality industry by joining Shoup’s Catering and Events in 2012. She is a very organized and detailed person who will make sure your event is truly special for you and your family.

A: Spending time with my husband riding our Harley Davidson Trike.

Kitchen Staff
Scott Smith has been working at Shoup’s for 2 years. He is a veteran of the Army’s Military Police and holds an A.S. in Graphic Design. Scott came to the Shoup’s kitchen to help out his girlfriend, Julia, as a part-timer and eventually stayed on full-time. Scott spends his time away from the kitchen obsessing over guitars and video games.

Bailey Kinsella grew up in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She attended Oklahoma State University where she studied Graphic Design, and played trumpet in the Cowboy Marching Band. After changing her mind and receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Bailey made the move to Indiana, and soon settled into a new life in Lafayette. Bailey has had many working experiences, from bartending and catering to car sales and customer service. But even with all these different jobs under her belt, she is excited to put her favorite skills to work as our in-house marketer.

Arborwood Facilities Assistant
Cindy is a proud Hot Dog, having graduated from Frankfort High School. After graduation, she attended Beauty School and began a career creating beauty for others. After meeting her husband, Tim, she took a break from the working world to raise their four wonderful children. After a few years managing the Marsh Bakery and Deli, she found a passion for decorating, and began creating floral arrangements for Shoup’s events in 2011. She now works alongside Pam Harris working to make Arborwood a beautiful space for all weddings and events. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and their five grand boys.

Kirk grew up on Frankfort spirit, graduating from Frankfort High School in 2007. He continued on to Ashford University, where he received a degree in Accounting, before following a new path and joining the Marine Core. He served as an Ammunition Tech for four years before returning to civilian life, settling down and having two children, Laeton and Avianna. After years of working part time for his close family friends, the Shoup’s, Kirk finally decided to join the team full time as a meat cutter, learning the art of cutting and trimming meats to perfection alongside Bob.
