The ladies of Edward Jones joined Shoup’s at Arborwood Wednesday evening for a holiday tea celebration. During this time the management team from Shoup’s Country Foods shared a variety of delicious holiday appetizer recipes and holiday decor ideas.
Below are the featured recipes that you can use at your holiday dinner parties:
2 pounds of Shoup’s Hamloaf, available at the Shoup’s Retail Store
1 small onion
2 eggs (well beaten)
1/2 cup bread crumbs or crackers
Baste raw mixture before baking (350 degrees for 1 hour) with brown sugar glaze (recipe below):
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp mustard
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/4 cup pineapple juice
Bring glaze mixture to boil prior to basting.
Cheesy Bacon Tomato Cups
Mozzarella or Swiss Cheese, grated
Jumbo Flaky Biscuits (local supermarket, in a can)
Mix ingredients together to taste and based on serving amounts. Tear the biscuits into 3 layers and lay into a mini muffin tin, each layer in a separate cup. Fill the biscuit layer with cheesy bacon mixture. Bake at 35o degrees until biscuit cup is golden brown.
